- teamed up with the Rutland Parks Society to create the Rutland Centennial committee to steer the celebrations for our 100 year anniversary. Centennial Social in February, May Days, Centennial Pioneer and Family Picnic in August, upcoming event in October and the tree light up in December are the activities planned for this year
- new Lion’s Park playground construction in participation with the city, Home Depot and KaBoom
- involvement with the Gerstmar Park plan, the Rutland Town Centre park and open space plan, the public art project for Rutland, the North Rutland neighborhood issues resolution committee and anything else that comes our way
- community clean up events and a lot of ongoing graffiti clean up
